Description
Richardson Electronics, LTD., a global provider of engineered solutions
and components, has an immediate opening for a PeopleSoft professional
to join our IS team. You will work out of our corporate offices in
Lafox, IL (just west of St. Charles and Geneva).
Responsibilities include:
--Design additions and enhancements to current systems to meet the
needs of users
--Provide support to users on day to day PeopleSoft issues by
troubleshooting and resolving problems
--Proactively identify areas for process improvement to improve
performance and/or reduce user problems
--Develop adhoc/standard reports/processes to satisfy user requests
--Work with users to help them understand how to better utilize the
PeopleSoft delivered processes and take advantage of delivered features
--Use PeopleTools as well as other third party tools to identify and
troubleshoot problems
--Assist with implementation of new functionality and new PeopleSoft
modules
Requirements
--Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials, specifically - AP, AR, AM
and GL
--Functional knowledge PeopleSoft Distribution
--Proficient using PeopleTools 8.4; Application Designer; SQR;
Application Engine; Query; Peoplecode; Application Messaging
--Complete understanding of the PeopleSoft n-tier architecture. Ability
to troubleshoot and tune PeopleSoft delivered processes.
--Ability to be self guided and take charge with minimal supervision
--Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
