Purpose:
A leading manufacturing firm in the San Diego area is seeking an Engineer with power electronics experience. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following functions:
*Modeling and simulation of high frequency converters for telecom and powering microprocessors
*Develop analytical tools for performance prediction and optimization of the converters
*Design of planar magnetics
*Design and experimentally verify electrical and magnetic circuits
*Specify test requirements for developed converters
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 15 years experience in the power electronics industry and have a M.S.E.E. Experience with switch-mode converters is a must. An excellent opportunity for a self-starter with an ability to "think outside the box".
