Busy medical clinic specializing in occupational medicine. MD based. Some specialty care with orthopedic and physiatry doctors. Supports MD in prepping patients, procedures, blood draws, injections, drug screens and physicals. Facilitates the efficient flow of patients and ensures a clean work environment. Some authorizations for specialty procedures and medical tests. Backs up front office as time permits.
Full-time. M-F. 8:30am-5pm. Wage is competitive. Work setting is sophisticated medical practice, small and rapidly growing company. Scenic views from the clinic. Emeryville location. High quality clinical environment.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience in similar setting
- Formal education or training in injections, blood draws, sterile fields
- Knowledge and training in drug screens and alcohol testing a plus
- Knowledge of workers compensation medicine a plus
- Commitment to highest quality medical care
- Strong customer service orientation
- Multitasked
- Able to coordinate and organize for busy physicians
- Bilingual in English, Spanish and/or Chinese a plus
- Flexible to work hours a plus
