Looking for a dependable team player with positive attitude to join our team. We are a software start-up with an employee friendly environment. Great opportunity for someone to gain valuable accounting experience. This is not a senior level position and will report directly to the Controller. Duties will include A/P, A/R, expense reports, journal entries, sales commissions, preparation of sales tax return and GL account reconcilations. In addition, this individual will support the annual audit and special projects as needed. Qualifications: BA/AA degree or equivalent with two years of accounting experience. Strong numbers focus with attention to detail required. Candidates must be able to work independently, manage priorities and be highly motivated. Proficiency with Quickbooks a must plus knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting systems.
