Great opportunity to join growing Financial Services firm. Our Client is seeking a self-starter with multicurrency accounting experience. CPA a plus!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the books and records of a foreign broker-dealer subsidiary
- Reconciling and preparing daily entries for several foreign currency bank accounts
- Reconciling and preparing daily entries for customer foreign currency transactions
- Preparing month-end closing journal entries and preparing month-end account reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of materials for regulatory examiners and external auditors as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-5 years experience in a Financial Accounting(Financial Services/broker-dealer experience required)
- Prior experience with bank reconciliations
- Multicurrency accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting and knowledge of GAAP accounting standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
