Chemist/Chemical Engineer I/II/III

Job Description

You will work on the DUROS team responsible for formulation of new products, and will develop and execute protocols to define critical attributes for these products. You'll carry out experimental procedures and data analysis, document your work completely, and present the results in a timely fashion. Some processes will involve scaling-up to larger batch sizes; other tasks will entail use of analytical and rheological instrumentation and/or development of techniques to define the DUROS system.

Job Requirements

A BS/MS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 0-9 years experience is required (new graduates must have extensive co-op background.) Your chemistry/chemical engineering expertise must include protein formulation development and training in use of applicable computer software such as spreadsheet and word processing applications. Additional experience with design of experiments and statistical analysis would be a definite plus, as would cGMP or GLP experience. Careful experimentation techniques and close attention to detail are imperative, and you must be conversant with polymer processing and pharmaceutical development, as well as being a skilled written/verbal communicator.
