Contracts Specialist, Legal Department
Connetics Corporation is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development & commercialization of novel therapeutics for the dermatology market. We currently have a great opportunity for a well-organized professional to establish/administer the contract review process.
In this key role, you will oversee successive document revisions; negotiate contract provisions; manage contract database; implement terms & conditions of contracts; negotiate terms/conditions of clinical study agreements; prepare general correspondence related to the process; work directly with Clinical Affairs department, physicians and medical institutions to ensure appropriateness of contract content; serve as primary liaison with Legal Counsel and our Accounting department; manage all post-contract matters, including processing payments according to contractual agreements; and ensure draft budgets are reviewed/finalized and contracts include final budgets.
The position requires a BA/BS and 3+ years?contract review & administration experience. Candidates must possess basic knowledge of contract issues/provisions; the ability to quickly grasp business issues, balance risks and understand contracts both technically and financially; PC proficiency with MS Word & Excel; and strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, analytical, and organizational/prioritizing skills. Pharmaceutical experience desired.
