Act as primary compliance contact for non-executive level management and personnel in the lending, branch, support unit, and operations areas in the Northern Region. Act as regulatory resource for loan officers at every step of the loan application process. Conduct training meetings for lending and operations staff. Act as a regulatory resource for Commercial Loan Services Staff regarding timing and accuracy of required disclosures for new loan requests. Provide disclosures for distribution to lending staff as required.

Act as primary contact for the Comerica Bank Branch Administration area including approving any updates and revisions to the Branch Operations Manuals. Complete on-site and in-office control exam review and evaluation work in the northern region. Conduct training meetings for lending and operations staff in the northern Region. Act as functional team member for regulatory issues when new promotions, products, and services are introduced. Perform the functional review required for the quarterly CRA and HMDA data reviews.

Requirements

Minimum five years consumer compliance/lending experience.
Thorough knowledge of Federal Consumer Regulations as well as California Law impacting various consumer issues.
College degree preferred.
Attendance at ABA National Compliance School a plus.
