Description

SUMMARY:
Supports the management team in completing the annual audit plan by conducting medium and high-risk audit assignments. Under supervision, identifies the scope of reviews, review staff work, identify control weaknesses, recommend effective corrective action, and present the results to all levels of business-line management. Also participates in the completion of special projects, the development and monitoring of early warning systems, and the training of staff members. Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years directly related experience required.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
1.Effectively plans, conducts and directs medium and high risk audit assignments early warning system development and monitoring, special projects, new business initiative reviews, etc. with direct supervision from managers or supervisors. Identifies internal control weaknesses, audit exceptions and inefficiencies with adequate recommendations to management. Acts as section and site leaders on large, multi-site assignments and directly supervising that related staff and interacting directly with local management. May also staff the highest risk audits.
2.Assists in the training, development, and mentoring of the staff and assistant staff team members by providing-the-job coaching, conducting training sessions, and delivering constructive and motivating feedback. Participates in the promotion of a positive level of morale, and demonstrate pride in the team and quality of work. Demonstrates awareness and support of diversity issues.
3.Participate with the team in the efforts to achieve departmental goals. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the development of early-warning and continuous monitoring mechanisms, supporting partnerships with business-line management, review new business initiatives etc., under management supervision. May also be responsible for overseeing some team members on these projects.

SKILLS:
1.Strong technical audit skills with industry knowledge (and Information Systems Audit skills for a Senior IS Auditor)
